Letter: Nomination for PM’s replacement

Dear Editor, Watching NZ PM Luxon on NZ TV this (yesterday) morning says the following, quote “We have no problem with the people of the Cook Islands.

They are good people who live and work in New Zealand. Our problem is with their Prime Minister Mark Brown (and the government)!”

The message is loud and clear Mark. You have burnt all your bridges, alienated your people and by your secretive arrogant disregard for prudent responsibilities of high office!
For heaven’s sake, resign! Leave! Kindly depart!

My nomination for his replacement? As I have no political party at present, I have the freedom and pleasure to nominate the Aitutaki MP Teokotai (Tango-Tai) Herman, the chairman of the Public Expenditures Committee, due to his outstanding monitoring and reporting back to Parliament. On top of that, he is an experienced and successful business man, not struggling to manage a fish and chips shop! What more, he is a man’s man!

Sincerely,

Norman George,

Former MP and concerned citizen
