Letter: Enforcement of law

Recently in the middle of town, not far at all from the Police station, a young motorbike rider, black hoodie overhead, white helmet on top of that, not speeding, and helmet just flew off, strap dangling.

When there is no enforcement of a law, the law becomes meaningless.

Can we please have some answers from Police spokesman Trevor Pitt. How many speeding citations written this year? How many nights this year were Police set up in front of Beachcomber to pull over those departing Rehab? How many bartenders lost their license for serving drunks?
