These young Cook Islanders are taught to believe that the bread and wine of communion - literally - becomes, in their kopu, the flesh and blood of Christ. We must have then, a registered religion that promotes cannibalism.
Seems someone has opened a big can of worms challenging the beliefs of some 400 of our fellow residents.
