Sheck was in Rarotonga last weekend coaching for the North Shore Women’s 7s team.
Sheck who is also coaching the New Zealand Harlequins Under 16 girls in New Zealand says it is a club that gives young people opportunities, whether they're boys or girls.
“We just got funding, new sponsors for our uniform and wanted to give some jerseys to the Pacific Islands.
“Initially, because I'm from Samoa, I was going to give them to Vaiala, my mum's village.”
However, she said someone was already gifting jerseys in Samoa and they had then decided to come to Rarotonga and gift it to them.
She explained that had four girls play for the North Shore team this year and they had decided to donate the jerseys to the Arorangi Bears.
