Exciting action continues in second week of Cook Islands Games

The second and final week of the 2024 Cook Islands Games got off to a great start with the beach volleyball competition at the National Beach Courts in Nikao yesterday.

The competitions yesterday and today focus on the under-14, U18 and masters mixed divisions. The open division matches will be held from Wednesday to Friday.

“Competition on Day One saw a few close scores, and with some outstanding matches ... Day Two should show more with the top teams trying to get a place in the play-offs,” according to Cook Islands Volleyball Federation.

Badminton, T10 cricket, football, touch and boxing events also kicked off yesterday and will continue today.

The Cook Islands Games closing ceremony will be held on Saturday at the National Stadium in Nikao.
