The incident took place at a backroad in Nikao where a blue double cab pickup collided with one of the two motorbikes leaving two lying in the middle of the road.
The second motorcycle, which was behind the first motorcycle that crashed, also crashed, leaving another two teens injured.
Police were contacted for assistance after midnight, following an ambulance that rushed the four teens to the hospital.
Three of the injured teens recovered after being attended to by the ambulance service, while one of the two motorcycle drivers was admitted.
The four teens were believed to be returning from a birthday party held on Saturday, with some dropping off friends.
One of the friends, who got dropped off that night, explained that one of their injured friends had a severe injury on her leg from the crash and is in the hospital for treatments.
Meanwhile, the weekend’s road incidents started with two motorbike crashes reported on Friday evening. Both involved tourists on rental bikes – one at the Sheraton in Vaimaanga and the other one in Tupapa.
Another motorbike spill was reported Saturday afternoon in Takuvaine, and a minor mishap occurred on Saturday morning involving a car park collision.
One abandoned motorbike without a number plate, a blue Honda Wave, was recovered by Police from Titikaveka.
A stunt driver was reported to the police after being sighted a second time this week on the backroad at Avaavaroa.
