Tupapa Maraerenga prepares to take on Nikao Sokattak at CIFA Complex today, with the U15 Boys match kicking off at 4pm, followed by the Senior Women’s clash.

In the U15 Boys match, Tupapa will face Nikao Sokattak, with the kick-off at 4pm. Tupapa’s U15 team continue to show improvement this season, characterised by a blend of skill and flare.

They will look to continue to play good football and put pressure on their opponent. Nikao Sokattak, on the other hand, will be aiming to continue their strong performance and capitalise on any lapses from Tupapa.

In the Senior Women’s division, Tupapa Maraerenga’s ladies in black are looking to climb the Round Cup Competition standings and redeem themselves after a challenging result last weekend.

They face a determined Nikao Sokattak side, which has shown resilience despite being a youthful squad.

Tupapa Maraerenga will rely on their experienced players to lead the charge and capitalise on scoring opportunities. Captain Claudean Robati will be pivotal in orchestrating the team’s play, with her ability to set the tempo and create crucial chances in attack. Alongside her, centreback Tupou Brogan will provide defensive solidity, while holding midfielder Kayleena Kermode will be key in controlling the midfield and distributing the ball effectively.

Nikao Sokattak will depend on their well-seasoned goalkeeper, Courtney Napa, to anchor their defense. Napa’s experience and exceptional shot-stopping ability will be essential in countering Tupapa’s offensive threats. Her ability to protect her goal mouth and organise her defense, including young defenders Tarani Omao and Mavis Makara, will be key in neutralising Tupapa’s attacking strategies.

Both teams are set to deliver an exciting match, with Tupapa Maraerenga aiming to leverage their attacking strengths and Nikao Sokattak focusing on defensive resilience and opportunistic play.

On Friday at the CIFA Complex, the two clubs will meet again in the U15 Girls at 4pm followed by the premier men’s clash.

Tupapa Maraerenga's U15 Girls have been in excellent form, showcasing their attacking prowess and defensive solidity. They are poised to make an impact in this encounter.

Nikao Sokattak’s U15 Girls will be eager to challenge Tupapa’s dominance and will look to create scoring opportunities.

Following the U15 Girls match, the Premier Men’s clash will kick off at 5pm. Tupapa Maraerenga has been a dominant force this season, boasting a record of three wins and one draw. Their squad features a potent attack, led by dynamic forwards Sunai Joseph and Tuffy Ngametua, who have been pivotal in breaking down defences. The midfield is anchored by Grover Harmon, whose playmaking ability and control are crucial to Tupapa’s strategy. In defence, Avi Enoka provides a solid backbone, ensuring stability and organisation.

Nikao Sokattak, despite facing a few setbacks, has demonstrated resilience and the capacity to capitalise on opportunities. Key players such as Tamaiva Mateariki, a formidable centre-back, and Owenne Matapo, a creative and influential midfielder, will be essential in Nikao’s efforts. Mateariki’s defensive flair and Matapo’s ability to control the midfield will be crucial in challenging Tupapa’s attacking threats.
