Lawyer Norman George, an executive of the former students’ association, said their ticket sales for the buffet dinner have turned out well and they are all “ready to go”.
George says the event is for all former students including those who attended the national college recently from 2020 to last year.
He encouraged those students who recently left school, emphasising that the fundraiser is not “only for the old-timers”.
“That is not correct. The fundraiser is for all,” George said. “Even if you left school last year, you’re a former student.”
He said there are no former students from overseas attending the event. Among the former students attending the dinner event tomorrow include retired school teacher, Teina Etches.
Entertainment starts at 6pm and will be provided by Kutia and Tina. The dress code is island wear. Tickets are selling for $50 per person and include a buffet dinner.
