Letter: CISNOC to Paris?

Dear Editor, Re your article ‘CISNOC head Graham to step down after accounts finalised’ in Monday, 27 May’s issue of Cook Islands News, I guess it doesn’t really matter when the special meeting to finalise the accounts is held, as the CISNOC president will still be going to the Paris Olympics with – most likely – the previous CEO and secretary general, Owen Lewis.

I am interested to see what is going to develop at the New Zealand Rugby special meeting this week where members are going to vote on governance issues (following an independent review which was tabled last year).

I’m sure organisations like CISNOC will be able to learn from developments on governance in NZR.

The last thing (maybe on a prickly subject) for the CISNOC president – can he tell us as to who is the media/communications person going to the Paris Olympics?

Or will that have to wait until everyone gets back from France?
