The Ngatangiia Matavera Sea Eagles soared to victory once again on Friday afternoon in a thrilling showdown against their arch-rivals, the Titikaveka Bulldogs, replicating their triumph from the opening round.

In a clash marked by fierce physicality and strategic gameplay at Victoria Park in Tupapa, the Sea Eagles capitalised on the Bulldogs’ errors to secure a commanding 36-10 win.

Sea Eagles coach Dion Nepia demonstrated his tactical prowess, guiding his team with a focus on structured play right from the kick-off until the final whistle.

In the under-16 category, the Ngatangiia Matavera Sea Eagles once again asserted their dominance over the Panthers, securing a decisive 32-18 victory on enemy territory. The Sea Eagles’ young guns showcased their talent and tenacity, overpowering their opponents to clinch another impressive win and maintain their unbeaten streak.
