In her address, CITTI director Tania Morgan expressed her pride in the students’ achievements, highlighting how their new skill sets have opened doors to opportunity.
Minister for Education, Vaine “Mac” Mokoroa, addressed the audience with messages of encouragement and support.
Students graduated with qualifications from the Cook Islands Ministry of Education, including: Certificate of Completion Primary Teaching, Trained Teachers Diploma in Primary Teaching, Certificate of Completion Secondary Teaching, and Trained Teachers Diploma in Secondary Teaching.
Students also received New Zealand Certificates in: Outdoor Experience (Level 3), Exercise (Level 5), Cookery (Level 3), Electrical Engineering (Level 2), Automotive Engineering (Level 3), Building, Construction and Allied Trades Skills (Level 3) Manihiki, Penrhyn and Rarotonga, Electrical Engineering (Level 3), Plumbing Gas fitting and Drain laying, Engineering (Electrician for Registration), Business (Introduction to Team Leadership Level 3), Business (First Line Management Level 4).
