Santa is busy preparing for a long night on December 24 and has a message for Cook Islands kids.

“I’m looking forward to all the treats that are left out, I love the variety of food in the Cook Islands; a good umu is always appreciated.”

Santa gave a special shout out to the kids in the Pa Enua, describing it as one his favourite places in the world to visit.

“I’m working hard on the weather; I want it to be sunny, and make sure you are water smart,” he said.

“Hi to all the kids, especially the ones on the good list; if you made the naughty list this year, you will try harder next year.

“Peace and love to all.”
