Guilty pleas indicated as woman faces multiple theft as a servant charges

A woman facing eight charges of theft as a servant has indicated she will enter guilty pleas.
Sharmiana Alexandra Thompson appeared in the Criminal Court on Thursday where her lawyer Mark Short said he had been given instructions that she wanted to enter guilty pleas.
Short said he wanted to discuss the matter with Crown Law prosecutor Jamie Crawford as cases that involved over $100,000 often required checking for correct figures.
Short said he wanted to check the figures and then guilty pleas would be entered.
Crawford was out of the country and the matter was adjourned to November 2 so Short could meet with her.
