Letter: Thanking you

Dear Editor, A heartfelt thank you to all who attended and supported our fundraiser for the Maui fire victims at Trader Jacks.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude as we extend our sincerest appreciation to everyone who joined us at Trader Jacks over the weekend for our fundraiser, dedicated to the Maui fire victims.

Your unwavering support and generosity have made this event a tremendous success, bringing hope and relief to those affected by the devastating fires.

Our heartfelt thanks goes out to each and every one of you who attended, donated, and contributed in countless ways to make this fundraiser a remarkable event.

Your compassion and commitment to helping those in need has not gone unnoticed.

Special recognition is in order for the incredible bands that graced our event with their fantastic performances.

Your music added a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere, making the fundraiser even more memorable.

Your dedication to our cause is truly appreciated.

We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to your collective efforts, we were able to raise just over ten thousand dollars.

This substantial amount will go a long way in aiding the Maui fire victims in their journey towards recovery and rebuilding their lives.

But our commitment to supporting those affected by the fires does not end here.

We are excited to share that we have more events planned, including a water-based event during the upcoming Vaka Eiva.

This event will feature short trips on the vakas, V6 oie vakas, and a Boiler swim.

We invite everyone to join us in these future initiatives, as together, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Once again, thank you to everyone who helped make our fundraiser for Maui fire victims a resounding success.

Your kindness and generosity have shown that, even in challenging times, our community comes together to support one another.

Chris Douglas.
