Always make Jesus the main thing

A young minister Johnny James once asked his much respected mentor Elder Hogan, “What is the main thing that a minister should have or do to edify God’s people?” At that point he expected the Elder to tell him some of the usual things that he already knew – like praying and fasting, increase the praying and Bible study hours, stay dedicated, obedient and faithful in all ministries of the church.
