Competition arrives and old style services don't know how to respond. AU Govt rolled out spent billions rolling out a service that was going to be obsolete before it was even finished. Don't worry about the warranty, we've had it here without any issues - and if you do have a faulty cable, they ship it without any questions asked. I can't see how they need permission to provide a service that even if CI said no, cannot be stopped. It reminds me when streaming internationally phone calls were trying to be stopped, so data rates went up, and now whatsapp and the like allow you to call without major data issues. "Jeopardising the actual arrival"... it's already out there.
