Moekaa said there has been an exhilarating display of skills and athleticism at the Men’s Netball Competition 2023.
Their team's (Empire) shooters have been delivering outstanding performances, with each of them boasting a shooting accuracy above 90 per cent.
Moekaa also said some of Shine on Fiji's players from the two teams entered had to play back to back with some players unavailable - showing good stamina especially given they were two gruelling one-hour matches.
She said without overshadowing the primary focus of the competition on men's netball - the inclusion of the local based National Netball Women's Squad, has proven valuable, its exposure to game time, so players can gel/connect on court, adjusting to different game plays, opportunity to practice against agile players and will assist the squad in strengthening their skills.
“The competition is far from over, however it is promising and this could look like an annual fixture so at the same time same place next week for Men’s Comp,’ she added.
Meanwhile, - Cardio Combat Netball Fundraiser on Friday July 7 at 6.30am - $10 a ticket, this will assist sending our team to upcoming competitions like the Pacific Games 2023.
