Edward Tonorio appeared before Justice of the Peace Tangi Taoro in the Criminal Court in Avarua on Thursday.
He pleaded guilty to two charges of burglary.
The incidents occurred on March 13 and April 1, where Tonorio raided Fave Designs and South Seas International respectively. It has been alleged he committed these acts with the help of two others.
Police prosecutor Senior Sergeant Fairoa Tararo asked for a probation report and a report outlining Tonorio’s criminal history to be produced before sentencing took place.
Tonorio was remanded on bail to appear before the Court for sentencing on August 16.
Meanwhile, Eve Rahela Teeio Check, who also faces charges of burglary for her alleged role in the same incidents, appeared before JP Taoro on the same day.
Defence counsel Michelle Tangimama’s request to adjourn the matter until June 8 so that Check could make a plea at her next appearance was granted.
Check was released on bail.
