That whole block houses offices, a major electronics
retailer, and Raromart.
Presently there are at most six off street parking spaces.
And now a factory and third major retailer, in what the proprietor says is
“fast becoming the centre of town”.
When, pray tell, will the government authority issuing building consents
require parking in every new development?
We all see it, every day, as we drive around the island and find the “footpath”
chock-a-block with cars at so many enterprises. Just because we’ve messed up so
badly for so long, is no reason to keep on messing up.
