Women’s Rugby World Cup champion Black Fern’s Krystal Murray and former Black Fern, Tekura Aerengamate are visiting Rarotonga this week.
While on holiday, the women have kindly offered to give back to the community and will run rugby clinics for school children throughout the week starting this morning at Apii Nikao.
To end the week there will be a train and play match on Friday for women and girls at the Ngatangiia Field.
Evolutions Sports Rarotonga leader Andrew Iroa said it was a privilege and honour to have the amazing Black Ferns participate in the 5.30am training session yesterday morning.
If you would like an opportunity to meet Murray and Aerengamate, their school schedule is as follows: Today Tuesday at 9am the women will be visiting Apii Nikao and from 12.30 - 1.30pm they will be at Apii Arorangi; Tomorrow Wednesday - Apii Te Uki Ou at 9am, Titikaveka College at 11am and 5pm will be an Open training session - Ngatangiia Field/Stadium; Thursday 9am at Apii Avarua and 1.30pm at Nukutere College; Friday at 4.30pm is Game Day at the Ngatangiia Field.
