“Non-compliance, as you see, you pay the penalty for it,” JP Taoro told him.
The court heard an incident was reported to police about 4pm on January 5.
Teao had hit a ditch while on a motorcycle and was observed to have an alcohol blood level of 226 mg.
He admitted consuming five bottles of beer and to being intoxicated.
Police acknowledged his guilty plea.
“You have heard what I said to the previous defendant that his blood level was high, yours was higher,” JP Taoro told him.
Teao was convicted and fined $450 for excess breath alcohol, $150 for the blood test and court costs of $50.
He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.
He was fined $50 and $50 court costs for careless driving.
