Defending men’s champions Black Wolves remain on track in the 2022 Cook Islands Beach Games beach football competition.

The Tupapa side won all their three matches on the opening two days of the competition held at the Nikao beach courts.

On Thursday, Black Wolves defeated Yeah 6-4 and yesterday they thumped Brew Crew 9-0 before overcoming Spice Guys 1-0.

Defending women’s champions Ladies in Black made a winning start on day one, thrashing Palmerston 6-1 before claiming 4-0 win against Just Kick It yesterday. However the side went down to Spice Queenz 3-4 in a closely contested affair in their third match.

Onetox, the reigning champions of CIFA’s beach football competition, is another unbeaten men’s side after drawing 3-all with Brew Crew before beating Spice Guys 3-2 and Palmerston 7-0.

The final day of beach football competition will be held today.
