A thrilling premier men’s game is expected at Teimurimotia Park on Friday between Titikaveka and Tupapa Maraerenga.

Titikaveka will look to limit Tupapa Maraerenga’s chances in utilising its central players to ensure they keep ball possession and strike for goals.

The side have caused a number of upsets during the season and bring an element of surprise to the game.

Titikaveka drew with the table toppers Nikao Sokattak in their match on Saturday, and without a doubt will come out determined to give Tupapa a good run.

Tupapa Maraerenga will look to reclaim their championship title this year, and a win against Titikaveka will keep their high standings on the table.

Tupapa Maraerenga showed total dominance in their last match against Puaikura and will look to recreate that strength and maintain their style of playing.

They will have to treat this game with extra precaution as Titikaveka has been a hard team to defeat in their last few outings, and will no doubt make Friday’s game a difficult take on their own stomping grounds.

In the Islander women’s match between the two clubs to be played today, the ladies in black met their match against Puaikura last week, the match ended in 1-all.

Tupapa will be looking to get back to winning ways however Titikaveka will try their best to defend their turf with an upset win.

Both teams have players that will look to take any opportunity to score.

Tupapa Maraerenga will need to find their winning style of play as they face a determined Titikaveka team.

The U15 Boys is set to kick off at 4pm before the women’s clash today, and on Friday, the U15 Girls will play before the men’s game at 5pm.
