Orange the world for White Ribbon

The White Ribbon campaign march moved swiftly through town on Wednesday, arriving at the Punanga Nui market in no time.

President of the Punanga Tauturu Inc (PTI) Mata Hetland says the organisation has been fundraising for upcoming projects for their “end to violence against women and children campaign.”

The group has also been invited to visit prison services for a presentation on the campaign. Live bands entertained the audience and food stalls were also open.

The worldwide theme for the event is: “Orange The World; Fund, Respond, Prevent, Collect.”
