Women rugby players have the opportunity to better understand the game they love through the rugby smart training sessions starting on Monday.

Each Monday in May, the rugby smart training sessions for women and girls will be held at the BCI Stadium from 5pm.

These sessions are an introduction to women’s rugby and aim to help young girls and women learn how to play the game.

The training sessions will also help players prepare for the launch of the first domestic women’s rugby season and acquire the correct skills and techniques required to play.

The domestic women’s rugby season will start in June with three weeks pre-season of 10s. For more information on how you can get involved in women’s rugby, contact Lara Sadaraka on 55714.
