Under 21s bring the flag down

Tuesday 14: The Cook Islands under 21 netball training squad (pictured above) was the main attraction at the closing of the Cook Islands Games on Saturday night.

The team arrived at the National Auditorium for the closing ceremony on time and while they waited for others to turn up, they made the most of the island drums beating at the venue. The girls showed off their island dancing including team coach Teresa Tairi as they waited for the event to begin.

Around 20 others made it to the closing of the ceremony which included the lowering of the CI Games flag and the extinguishing of the games flame. - Matariki Wilson
