Monday 20: The St Kentigerns first XV squad will be on a high after winning their second tour match, 33-5, against an Aitutaki selection last Friday.
St Kent’s will go into their third and final match today against the Cook Islands Sports Academy, in a pretty confident mood obviously intent to end their tour on a winning note.
On the other hand, the Cook Islands Sports Academy (CISA) will be licking their wounds after last week’s 20-nil drubbing at the hands of St Kent’s and will want to make a better account of themselves.
Look for more involvement from game breakers Kairan Marsh and Tai Joseph Jnr to hopefully give CISA more ‘go forward’.
With a dry track on the cards and a better prepared team (after a week’s rest) you can expect a much improved effort from CISA today.
Be at the Titikaveka rugby field today at 3.30pm to find out – good luck to both teams.
There is just a small entry fee of $2 to pay at the gates today with the match to be refereed by Pare Rongokea. - CIRU
