Saturday, August 28 is set to be the biggest Fight Night of the year and is expected to be a knock-out event.

The Cook Islands Sports Association (CISA) is joining forces with the Cook Islands Amateur Boxing Association for one night of action packed boxing at the Telecom Sports Arena in aid of Cook Islands national boxers preparing for the Delhi Commonwealth Games in October.

Ten bouts have been scheduled for the night, including bouts between the CISA students and some of the islands up-and-coming boxing stars plus exhibition matches between our national boxers including Eddie Daniel, Mathew Tito and Osolai Agai.

The fight night will start at 6.30pm and includes a very exciting ‘corporate’ package for the night. A $10 corporate ticket will get you ringside seats and silver service including food and beverages.

Standard tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for kids.

You can pick up tickets from any of the CISA students and members of the boxing association.

The CISA boxers gathered for a weight-in yesterday and judging by some of their moves during their photo shoot with Cook Islands News – they are going to be explosive in the ring!
