Women in Sport seminar

Cook Islands National Sports and Olympic Association Women in Sport Commission will be conducting a national management seminar from August 30 to September 2 at the Sinai Hall in Avarua.

The seminar is open to the general public and will include key note speaker Helen Brownlee, chair of the Oceania Women in Sport.

Others speakers will include women in our community who have held leadership roles, especially in sport plus women working in sport today.

The seminal will also highlight opportunities in sport for women from being an elite athlete, sports administrator and project developer. The three day seminar will include both theory and practical sessions with emphasis on sport project development, management and implementation.
