Ambrose fundraiser

The Matavera Sunday School have a golf Ambrose fundraiser tomorrow at 4pm at the Rarotonga Golf Club.

The fundraiser is in aid of the Matavera Sunday School community’s trip to visit the CICC churches in Auckland.

The trip will also be an opportunity for the students of the Matavera Sunday school to have some fun visiting the various theme parks in Auckland.

It’s also an educational trip for the students as some of the children have never flown on an aircraft before and this will be an experience of a lifetime for them all.

The Matavera community has been fundraising since January to cover the cost of their trip.

While in New Zealand the group will be hosted by the Iti Tangata Matavera group.

The team would like to acknowledge and thank Air New Zealand for contributing two travel vouchers as prizes for Friday’s golf Ambrose where some other awesome prizes will be up for grabs.

The group, made up of around 60 people, will depart Rarotonga on December and return on January 3.

The team would like to thank everyone who has supported them during their various fundraising efforts from members of the community to members of parliament and the leaders of the Matavera CICC community and CICC general secretary Nga Mataio.
