Fun in the sun!

The final day of Sevens in Heaven on Saturday drew a colourful crowd to the BCI Stadium to watch some great rugby games and be seen in their costumes.

Vonnia’s Vikings looked threatening in their costumes of horned hats and large swords but they were a barrel of fun and so were the ‘Sugary Treats’ girls from CITC that dressed up in M&M confectionery costumes.

Assassins, horned devils, beauty queens and crayons were some of the other groups that came out to party on Saturday.

Ropa’s Rugby group from New Zealand were hard to miss in their big colourful wigs and ties that invited ‘kisses’ from any passersby – highlighting the fun that goes hand in hand with Sevens in Heaven.

With cash prizes up for grabs during the tournament in the CITC dress up competition and with costumes of all sorts – it would have been difficult being a judge for the competition.
