A huge evening of fun, games and performances is being planned for this Monday’s Rotaract Christmas in the Park.

This year the event will be held at the BCI Stadium in Nikao and the whole community is invited.

The gates to the stadium will open at 4.30pm with a heap of activities planned for the early part of the evening to keep kids entertained.

As the event is being held outdoors – families are encouraged to bring mats and chairs for a picnic style gathering.

Golf putting, face painting and goal kicking games are just some of the fun things in store for kids and of course there will be a photo booth set for portraits with the man himself – Santa Claus.

Santa is expected to make his entry into the stadium between 5.30pm and 6 o’clock with a huge bag of presents and lollies for the kids.

Don’t worry about dinner as around 30 food stalls will be set up at the stadium grounds for the night.

There will also be plenty of spot prizes too for kids that dress up for the occasion and although the theme of the night is ‘Christmas wonderland’ – superheros and princesses are all welcome.

There will be lots of performances on the night by special guest artists including the Raro Idol singers and community groups.

So get the kids together and head to the BCI Stadium for the Christmas in the Park festival of food, entertainment and fun.

Entry fees are $2.50 for children between the ages of 5 years and 12 and $5 for adults and kids over 13 years.

If it rains on Monday – the event will be postponed to another date so everyone can get the most enjoyment out of the day.
