Kukis bound to win best dressed

Turtles Sportswear guarantees that in the battle of the best dressed team between the Kiwis and Kukis the Kukis will win.

Yesterday, Chris McKinley of Turtles confirmed his commitment as one of the gold sponsors of the one-off Kiwis versus Kukis league match at the BCI Stadium on October 6 an event McKinley believes will be one of the biggest events on the island.

The game is probably the biggest event in the Cook Islands with the likes of Benji Marshall coming to our shores its another level up seen here, says McKinley.

Turtles will be producing a brand new set of national uniforms for the Cook Islands rugby league team which McKinley has described as a very patriotic strip.

The jerseys will soon be on sale at Turtles in Panama where Kiwis vs Kukis supporters t-shirts are already on sale.

Proceeds from the sale of Cook Islands Rugby League apparel will go back to the local league association to help with its 2013 World Cup campaign.

Turtles has been linked with rugby league for over 12 years, since the days of Super League.

We have always had a link with rugby league and will continue to support the sport, adds McKinley.

Turtles will be supplying training, dress and playing gear for the team playing on Australias NRL circuit in Australia which includes Cook Islanders.

Cook Islands Rugby League Association president Charles Carlson is thrilled with Turtles continued support and adds that the Cook Islands will field a tough team and could include Alex Glen of the Brisbane Broncos and Tinirau Arona and Jonathan Ford of the Sydney Roosters.
