Volleyball teams TKV2 and Ruks maintain their top of the table positions after strong wins at Wednesday nights fifth round of the BCI social mixed volleyball competition.

TKV2 faced an amped up Aremango Sharks team who after registering their first win last week were on the hunt for their second.

But try as they might the TKV2 team played with a too much to lose attitude and trounced the Sharks, 80 points to 64.

Team Ruks had a battle on their hands when they faced early competition leaders OKA.

The Ruks players kept their cool to win by 10 points against OKA 86-76.

Tokoroa Pride was the only team to register triple digits when they defeated the BCI Real Steels 101-67.

Another fierce battle was seen between team Fiji Me and Kick Ass with the latter team living up to their name and beating Fiji Me 82-78.

Party Rock was the last team on the night to register a win and it was a good one against early competition favourites team WACKeez.

Party Rock managed to edge out WACKeez 88-70.

Another round of exciting games is on the cards for round 6 of the 10 week competition next Wednesday at the Telecom Sports Arena in Nikao.
