Multisport continues

It may be the festive season and time to relax, but duathlon and triathlon events are still running as normal.

Today the weekly duathlon will once again run from the Panama site and the two course on offer will be a 2km run, 8km cycle and 1km run which will include one loop of the airport block.

The second longer course includes a 3km run and 16km cycle two loops around the airport block and ending with a 3km run.

The event today at 5.15pm and of course athletes can run a course of their own choice.

Triathlon stalwarts will be at Tikioki on Saturday and so will the Hash eskie for a bit of a wind-up to Christmas.

The duathlon and triathlon this week is also a great opportunity for athletes heading to New Zealand for the Tauranga event to polish up their act.
