Sharks play Bears

The Aitutaki Sharks will be looking to upset the Arorangi Bears at Vaipae today, when the teams clash in front of a fervent Sharks supporter base.

Coming off a narrow loss to the Takuvaine Warriors last week, the Sharks will be looking for some redemption against the Bears in this week’s play.

Before they can do that, though, rugby league’s old hands will give them a lesson in the day’s curtain-raiser as the Mongoose boys take on the Aitutaki Hammerheads.

In the day’s other play, the reserve grade teams for Tupapa, Takuvaine, Titikaveka and Arorangi will have a run on the fields.

The action in Rarotonga kicks off at 4.30pm in Titikaveka and Tupapa, while the masters begin play at 4pm before the 4.45pm premiers match in Aitutaki.
