Ella’s on course

Cook Islands slalom canoeist Ella Nicholas is brimming with excitement as she goes through final preparations for the London Olympics.

Nicholas, who is the only one of the eight Cook Islands athletes who properly qualified for the Olympics, has spent the past week training in London.

She is currently back in Pau, France, where she has been for the past months competing and training.

She is excited to move into the Olympic village in two weeks time.
