Herne Bay take out the squash

Rarotonga Squash Club members gather in court one for a photoshoot after the club’s monthly competition last week sponsored by Cook Islands Steel.

In total 24 players laced up and took to the court for the competition which was won by visiting A1 ranked Auckland player Rachel McLeod.

The skilled and fit players from the Herne Bay club defeated all the women and men in the competition and beat Brett Baudinet 3-1 in the finals to take out the competition.

The thrilled winner of the lucky draw for $500 cash went to Vina Carlson pictured right waving her winnings.
