The Tupapa Maraerenga premier men’s football team and the Arorangi senior women’s team are currently leading the Lotto Premiership Men’s Championship and the CIPS Image & Copy Centre Women’s Championship respectively.

They are closely followed by Nikao Sokattak premier men and the Titikaveka senior women’s team.

In the under 17 SAVA round cup championship, Tupapa Maraerenga is in the lead and followed by Nikao Sokattak and Titikaveka.

While in the SAVA under 14 boy’s division, Nikao Sokattak and Avatiu are equal on 15 points with only goal difference separating the two sides, with Matavera trailing by three points.

In the under 14 girls division, Tupapa Maraerenga has a slight lead on 13 points over Matavera who are on 11 points.

Today’s under 17 men’s action will take place at the CIFA complex and at the Matavera school grounds.

Arorangi will be looking to make up ground on the top three when they tackle Takuvaine on field one.

Nikao Sokattak will be looking to their match against Avatiu on field two to catch the competition leaders.

Meanwhile, at the Matavera school grounds it will take an almighty effort from Titikaveka to down a confident Tupapa side with their eyes on top honours at the end of the season. All three games will kick off at 4.30pm.
