Vonnia’s support Sharks

The Aitutaki Sharks rugby league club flashed their pearly whites on Friday in appreciation of a $2000 cheque donated to the club by Vonnia’s owners Nia and Yvonne Heather.

The Aitutaki league club was presented with the cheque before their game against the Tupapa Panthers at Victoria Park yesterday. Yvonne Heather explains the funds donated to the club came from commissions on the sale of Aitutaki Sharks merchandise through the Aitutaki Vonnia’s branch. Nia and Yvonne presented the cheque to Sharks president Mona Ioane who encouraged his team to urge all their friends and family to buy Sharks merchandise and help support the club.

The presentation of the cheque was met with a huge round of applause from the Sharks players and supporters.
