The Titikaveka Pearls premier grade continued their dominance on the netball courts beating Tupapa 58-34 on Saturday.

The Pearls are looking strong to defend their championships title but hot on their heels and chasing the champion’s trophy are the Avatiu Dragonflies.

On Saturday the ladies from the Swamp faced the Arorangi premier grade and Dragonflies showed no mercy as they trounced the wild west ladies 80-45.

High scoring games also featured in the reserve grade where Avatiu thrashed Arorangi 77-29 and Titikaveka beat Tupapa 63-41.

Takuvaine registered a strong 41-25 against Ngatangiia.

This Wednesday the open 1 and 2 netball grades return to the TSA courts and at this stage the second hit out for the national netball team will be held after the open games.

The national squad are set to face the strong netball men’s squad in what should be a thrilling game.
