All eyes will be on current and future track and field Olympians today as Tereora College students hit the BCI Stadium for the annual inter house competition.

With Olympians and college students Patricia Taea and Patrick Tuara still glowing from their London Olympic experience, along with some hard training done by fellow talented students, records are expected to fall today.

With all current junior, intermediate and senior boys and girls champions still attending school – today’s races are expected to be highly competitive.

In 2010 – Maungaroa house was crowed the winning house and last year it was house three ‘Te Manga’ that won the day and overall inter house competition for the year.

While all eyes will no doubt be on the two Olympians and other talented ahtletes at the college, there are a number of fun events running on the day in the spirit of participation including a banner competition, backwards 50m dash and the ever popular tug-o-war.

Parents and members of the public are invited and encouraged to get along to the BCI Stadium today for the exciting Tereora College inter-house athletics competition starting at 8.30am.
