Football heads into round ten

After losing only one game so far in the 2013 football season in the under 11 mixed competition Titikaveka and Tupapa Maraerenga will be looking to extend their lead when they take to the soccer fields today.

Titikaveka is scheduled to play against Avatiu on field two while Tupapa Maraerenga go head to head against Nikao Sokattak on field one at the CIFA complex.

Titikaveka’s goal scoring machine Mareta Matamaki has scored in all of their matches and will no doubt attempt to further his goal count.

Puaikura will take on a determined Matavera outfit whose current form has been impressive so far in the competition and is bound to cause an upset with any of the top two teams.

The under 11 mixed competition will kick off at 4.15pm followed by the under 17 men’s matches.

Nikao Sokattak will be looking to extend their lead when they play Tupapa Maraerenga today.

Sokattak’s performances so far have seen their side progress over the weeks.

Avatiu and Titikaveka will battle it out and Titikaveka undoubtedly will look to repeat their winning performance against Avatiu in their first meeting while competition leaders Puaikura contest against Matavera.
