Puaikura one step away from the champions title

Top of the table under 17 men’s division team Puaikura is one game away from winning their first football title in many years when they battle against Takuvaine in their last round of games for the round cup competition for 2013.

At the CIFA complex in Matavera on field one, Matavera will contest Avatiu while on field two Tupapa Maraerenga will play Titikaveka.

Titikaveka will be eyeing up a spot on the podium this year and a comfortable win against Tupapa will be on their minds.

Before the under 17 men’s games the top spot in the under 11 mixed category is up for grabs this afternoon between Titikaveka and Tupapa Maraerenga.

Matavera will be in the running for third place when they go head to head against Avatiu while Takuvaine and Puaikura play to edge each other out.

The under 11 mixed matches will kick off at 4.15pm followed by the under 17 men’s category at 4.50pm – good luck to all teams.
