Championship to be decided

The Lotto Championship for the premier men’s football division will be decided today when competition leaders Puaikura play Takuvaine at the Happy Valley.

Puaikura, who defeated Takuvaine convincingly in the first round match, will look at a similar result today in order to secure the round cup championship for the first time since it started in 1992.

Under coach Tuka Tisam, a mixture of youth and experienced players have formed the backbone of this team during the 2013 football season.

Today’s main match is scheduled to kick off at 5pm with the under 14 girls at 4.15pm.
