APIA – Former Manu Samoa player Filipo Saena – who says he has already been through hell and back after he lost his wife to cancer – is appealing to the public.

He is urging everyone to help him find his laptop and New Zealand Passport which were stolen from his car last Friday.

A reward of 1000 tala is being offered to whoever can bring back both items.

The laptop contains the video recording of his late wife Kathleen Bartley-Saena’s funeral.

Filipo also needs his passport urgently as he is booked to return back to Australia this Friday.

His late wife passed away last year from cancer.

When speaking to the Samoa Observer about the theft, he said he was feeling a deep sense of sorrow.

“It’s already been hard enough letting my late wife go – but now to lose the memories of our last moments with her, really hurts.”

“I beg whoever has my laptop and passport to please bring them to me. That’s the only laptop with my late wife’s funeral service in it,” he said.

His final plea to the person who has his laptop and passport: “Please, put yourself in my shoes. I have priceless memories in there of my late wife’s funeral, other aunties’ and uncles’ funerals and also photos of my children growing up.”

“If you have a heart, you would return these items please. we’ve already been through hell and back.”

“I also need my passport to go back to Australia and see my children who are there. I’m pleading with you that you may have a heart and return my belongings please.”
