The two-day clinic, which starts this afternoon, will be held at the Cook Islands Sports and National Olympic Committee (CISNOC) office at 5pm.
It will be conducted by Cook Islander, Junior John Dean, who is currently on holiday here in Rarotonga.
Dean has a long association with touch in Australia and New Zealand.
Association president Daphne Brown says today’s session will be a theory on the rules of the game followed by a practical session at Nikao Field tomorrow.
“The sessions are for the regular touch referees and anyone else that may be interested. This is put together by the association so the participants don’t have to pay a fee to be part of it,” Brown adds.
