The Samoa Pacific Games is nearing and the intensity has picked up at CIFA for the national women’s squad.

Cooler temperatures and periods of rain didn’t dampen the spirits of the 90 children who turned up to Tuesday’s Just Play Village Festival in Nikao last week.

Football eyes U16 champs

The Cook Islands under-16 team is training hard in preparation for the OFC U16 Women’s Championship 2019.

Kevin McGreskin is the new face in the Cook Islands and the Scotsman tells Football in Oceania all about his new job, what he hopes to do in the Cook Islands and how long he might be staying.

Cook Islands will host the OFC U19 Women’s Championship 2019 to be held from August 30 to September 12 at the CIFA Complex in Matavera.

Weather permitting this Thursday, Cook Islands Football Associations Just Play and Technical teams will run a morning of action-packed fun football activities for all children 5-13years at the CIFA Complex in Matavera from 10am – 12pm.

The group stage of the Kia Orana Youth Football Festival wrapped up on Thursday with Aitutaki, Puaikura, Mauke, Takitumu and Tupapa Maraerenga securing places in the girls’ and boys’ semifinals which were played yesterday.
