Tupapa Maraerenga’s 3-2 win over Puaikura on Saturday has put the side in lead in the Van’s Premiership Competition.

The defending champion amassed 13 points from five matches.

Titikaveka and Puiakura are tied on 10 points each but the former leads on goal advantage.

Matavera Ngatangiia FC, who won their first game this season against Nikao Sokattak, is placed fourth. The Sokattak are on fifth followed by Avatiu at the bottom of the points table.

The undefeated Puaikura leads the Islander Senior Women’s Championship on 13 points followed by Tupapa Maraerenga FC.

In the DJ Gas U17 Championship, Nikao Sokattak maintains the lead after winning all their past five matches. The side has 15 points.

Not far behind is the Tupapa Maraerenga FC on 12 points and a goal difference of 16 goals, Titikaveka FC is placed third followed by Matavera on fourth.

Puaikura and Avatiu lead the BSP’s Under 15 Girls and Under 14 Boys Championship, respectively.
