It included fun activities and games.
Organised buses were full as they arrived at the Matavera complex with children ranging in age from 4 to 15 years ready to get active and have fun.
A light shower blessed the start of the event before things heated up with a hive of activities and smiles reaching across the CIFA complex.
It was wonderful to see many of the older kids coming out, staying off their technology for the morning and enjoying themselves with their peers, said organiser Michelle Paiti.
“Unfortunately it was only a one week holiday this time round, but be sure to keep an eye out for further events in the near future,” she said.
“A huge meitaki maata to all the children for participating, along with parents and families for your support in allowing children to attend.”
